Tourist

In some point in time I knew I had to visit the 10 gates of 'hell' some day, and that is today.
Although I live next to it, I've never went in. Particularly since the place scared me.

HAHAHAHAHHA and if you're wondering what I mean by hell, I mean Haw Par Villa.
       (Bianca and Yuan Jia)

Haw Par villa is a sculpture filled place that depicts the hells in which ancient Chinese believe in. I think so, not entirely sure. Apparently, this place use to be rather popular until what I believe was education and globalization that opened the minds of the younger generation who chose their own believes and saw this place as something insignificant; Therefore this place lost it's popularity and eventually became a run down free for all tourist attraction.

Classic tourist shot.

Given that none of us has ever set foot into this place, Yuan Jia, Bianca and I decided to explore the place, dressed like tourist. I think Yuan Jia wins the Best Dressed Tourist prize, she looks like she's from taiwan.
ARTY. MOMENT

Is this 77 worthy?

Mimicking tourist mannerism

For some reason, a miniature statue of liberty was found present. peculiar.
Does this look like we were actually in New York City?

Gorgeous beings

We poped by Clementi Library, before dropping by B's house.  IG CODE ALERT. Then, we went to Jurong library where we found a field and borrowed books. B borrowed 9 books. Clearly an library book hoarder of some sort. We also got KOI and were extremely disturbed by a song playing in the back ground that repeatedly sang
" I'M GOING TO F*** YOU"
I guess, we're not used to profanities being used so freely...  I'm pretty sure that's a good thing

SWOOSHH
SWISHHH

SUSHHHH

Run like the wind.

Safekeeping

I've been gone for a while, alright, a long time but I have reasons for doing so. Possibly.

O'level results come out last Thursday(10 jan 2013).  Although the results were a pleasant surprise and a personal achievement, it wasn't good enough. That according to the overachieving nation of Singaporeans who measures a person's brilliance based on nothing but the academic success on a single examination.

Then came the stress of having to choose between going to a Junior College or a Polytechnic. The controversial views and ignorant remarks that people sprout made me extremely confused. I know that education will bring anyone far because it brings along the reward of a good pay and even a comfortable life, but is there all that there is to it? The remarks game me the impression that those who were incapable of achieving stellar grades on this island deserve to be thrown into a bottomless pit that burnt for an eternity. Harsh.

*sigh* my friends and I are all going separate ways. As much as I would love to continue spending a part of my day to day life with them, the separation is inevitable. Although we all have a passion to pursue different things, it amazes me how much we all still have in common to laugh as well as to talk about. Safekeeping of the memories forged in a box would be ideal.

Also lately due to the ample time I have on my hands, I have been channel surfing and most often end up watching really old animes that I use to watch 6 years ago. As I recall the animation used to be the most flawless masterpiece that I have ever set my eyes upon, but now the animation just seems flawed and sketchy. Much like the iphone 3Gs which I use to perceive as the most beautiful piece of technology I have ever laid my hands on, after I started using the 4Gs, 3Gs just seems like a complete miss fire at perfection. My point is, the present situation at hand may seem ideal, however, I should not dwell on the past. Instead, I should try to move on and open my mind to the greater things that have yet to come. Although I aim to move on and make better and more trilling memories, I hope to keep in contact with my current friends. At hand, this seems like an impossible task, given that I have unsuccessfully kept in contact with friends from both my kindergarden and primary school.

Here's to another empty promise that I meant to make: Japan post will be up soon.
Also, should I start recording myself singing covers? oh who am I talking to, I don't even have a audience that reads my blog on a regular basis ...

XOXO
